Robert Frost is one of the most popular poets in America in 20th century. Most of his poems took subjects from natural life in countryside,expressing some philosophy with concise language and artistic conceptions:Every day is not Sunday.

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.
